Mock OSHA Inspections |
![]() |
ESP will visit your job site anywhere and conduct a full-scale, OSHA-like focused inspection. Our Safety Consultant performing this inspection will conform not only to the standards, but to the latest OSHA directives and interpretations. The goal of this visit: to identify areas of non-compliance for you or your subcontractors. These mock OSHA inspections are tailored to fit the size and scope of the specific jobsite a company is working at. The time spent conducting an inspection will closely follow what a normal OSHA inspection would entail. Utilizing this service, many contractors have stated that the money spent on the mock OSHA Inspection more than paid for itself in comparison to the findings and potential penalties should it had been an actual OSHA inspection. Reports will include written documentation accompanied by photos. The findings are then analyzed and conclusions with you. | ||||

| Safety & Health Program Management System Assessment |
| ESP’s safety consultants can evaluate the effectiveness of your company's Safety and Health program management system. Using assessment tools, seven major elements can bereviewed: |
| • Hazard Anticipation & Detection • Hazard Prevention & Control • Planning & Evaluation • Administration & Supervision • Safety & Health Training • Management Leadership • Employee Participation |
| ESP recognizes that an effective safety and health program management system is an asset to your company. It will reduce the number of accidents by reducing the risk of illnesses and injuries to employees, reduce the recurrence of identified hazards, and change the culture of the workplace to work safe and smart. Developing HASPS (Health and Safety Programs) Required by the HAZWOPER Standard Let ESP prepare your site-specific Health and Safety Plan (HASP). From the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA’s) perspective, employers who have employees on a site that falls within the scope of the Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) standard, paragraphs (b)-(o), are responsible for ensuring that their employees are protected by the provisions of an effective site-specific Health and Safety Plan (HASP). One way to accomplish this is for each employer to prepare its own HASP to address employee work activities, the associated hazards, and implemented controls. This plan must be coordinated with other contractors on the site and with the emergency response organization(s) and the medical care facilities you’ll rely on for emergency services. |
| Alternatively, a single site HASP may be prepared to cover multiple contractors. Preparation of a comprehensive site HASP may promote efficiency, completeness, clarity and coordination among all parties. A company can use the site-wide or prime contractor’s HASP to protect its employees if the HASP appropriately addresses all activities and potential safety and health hazards to which its employees may be exposed. Each contractor and subcontractor, however, is ultimately responsible for complying with OSHA safety and health requirements that apply to its employees. If the site-wide or prime contractor’s HASP does not address the hazards or controls associated with your employees' activities on the site, you are responsible for working with the contractor to modify the HASP, or for developing a supplemental plan to cover the additional provisions that apply to your work operations, or developing a complete HASP if necessary. "Turnkey" Safety Program and Training Programs ESP’s safety and training program development strives to provide employers with the knowledge they need to keep employees safe in their work environment while providing an environment where learning experiences are both challenging and positive. ESP strives to ensure that your company can comply with OSHA standards. Training is tailored to meet the requirements of each customer’s company, corporate culture and regulatory environment. We use a safety-training matrix to show what training is required for each OSHA Standard. Some training is required only once, some is required annually, and some is required only when conditions change or an employee demonstrates a deficiency of essential safety skills. ESP can design a custom program for your needs, provide the specialized and individualized training required and qualify instructors, including First Aid and CPR. |
