OSHA 8-Hour HAZWOPER Annual Refresher: 8 hours
Description
The goal of this OSHA mandated 8 hours of annual refresher training is to provide personnel involved with the clean-up of hazardous waste sites the knowledge to safely work in a hazardous environment. This course is intended to assist in satisfying the annual training requirement of the Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) rule, found in Title 29 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 1910.120. The standard was specifically developed to protect workers that may be exposed to hazardous waste at uncontrolled hazardous waste sites and at EPA licensed waste treatment, storage and disposal facilities; as well as workers responding to emergencies involving hazardous materials (such as spills).

DOT Hazardous Materials Shipment: (8 hours)Description
This 8 hour course covers the fundamentals of shipping hazardous materials. Our 10 step approach encompasses all of the activities, which must be addressed when preparing a hazardous material for shipment. This course has been updated to include recent changes to the regulations, including HM-215D. The course meets the requirements for training as specified in 49 CFR 172 Subpart H, including testing of participants. This course uses the J.J. Keller “Hazmat Training Basics” course material. This course does not cover driver training as required for each hazmat employee who will operate a motor vehicle.
