This 8 hour course is designed as an overview of the OSHA Process Safety Management and EPA Risk Management Program Standards as they apply to systems that involve chlorine and ammonia. All 14 elements of PSM and 15 elements of RMP are reviewed as they apply to these two chemicals and commonly-found systems that use them. Current interpretations of the standards and industry “best practices” are reviewed and discussed.

Audience
Any employee who works with or on a system that uses chlorine or ammonia that requires OSHA PSM or EPA RMP compliance and their management, first responders and hazmat personnel who would respond to an ammonia or chlorine incident on such a system and risk managers.
