Gas Detection

"Essential Safety Services strongly recommends "bump testing" of any gas detection instrument prior
to its daily use to ensure that it will go into alarm and that the sensors are in working order. A "bump
test" is not in lieu of regular calibration which should be in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations. We at Essential Safety Services recommend that, at a minimum, gas detectors be calibrated at least quarterly.
